This four-ingredient hot chocolate will up your hot cocoa game. More than just powder and milk, the addition of dark chocolate gives our version a rich and creamy flavor that everyone will love! Dutch-process cocoa powder adds decadent richness, but the recipe will still taste wonderful if using natural cocoa powder. Topping it with organic homemade whipped cream and a sprinkling of milk chocolate shavings adds the finishing touch.

Ingredients
Dark Chocolate
¼ cup organic 55% to 65% cacao dark chocolate chunks
A small bowl of sugar.
2 tablespoons organic cane sugar
2 tablespoons Dutch-process cocoa powder

Add all ingredients to a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat.
Whisk constantly to prevent scorching until all ingredients dissolve and the temperature reaches 160 F on an instant-read thermometer.
Remove from heat, carefully ladle into glasses, and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
