This easy chocolate milkshake gets a double dose of chocolate flavor from Organic Valley Lowfat Chocolate Milk and cocoa powder. A frozen banana thickens the shake and adds natural sweetness without the need for additional sugar. (Note: You’ll need to freeze a banana before beginning—a great use for those spotty bananas!).

Ingredients
1 cup ice
banana
1 large banana, peeled and frozen
2 tablespoons cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
A small bottle of vanilla extract.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A small bowl of salt.
Pinch of salt

In a blender, add the ice, chocolate milk, and heavy whipping cream. Break the frozen banana into thirds and add it to the blender, along with the cacao powder, vanilla extract and salt. Blend until smooth, stopping and scraping the sides occasionally.
Serve the milkshake on its own or garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings! Makes two 8-ounce servings.
